Lauren Robinson is the historical fiction author of The Boy Who Saw In Colours. She is from the small town of Derry in picturesque Northern Ireland.
After pursuing a career in journalism, facts were pivotal, so Lauren spent five years researching and writing her debut novel. Learning German was only one step in the process. Others included interviewing vital contacts to tell the story as authentically as possible.
Robinson draws inspiration from everyday people and events in her life, saying, "The story was always there, in my head, and I built upon it year after year until I had no choice but to write."
When Lauren's head is not buried in a book, she can be found at her local gym or creating art.
